The chanting or repeating of mantras has been practised for thousands of years, with the earliest recognised mantra being the OM or sound of creation which has its origins in Sanskrit.

The adult body is made up of 75% water which is a great sound wave conductor and when these waves flow through the body they are known to improve circulation, release blocks, clear distortions and raise the internal frequency.

The adult body is made up of 75% water which is a great sound wave conductor and when these waves flow through the body they are known to improve circulation, release blocks, clear distortions and raise the internal frequency.  This supports the body to clear disease or disharmony on all levels and improve wellness which can manifest as calming the mind, easing anxiety, lifting the mood and improving focus.

Likewise, when you chant or repeat a positive mantra it carries a positive vibration or sound wave that has a direct effect on the body, opening the heart centre, aligning the chakras and connecting you to higher frequencies of light and energy.  This enables your body to release density, blocks and lower emotions on all levels, creating shifts of consciousness and the alchemy needed in order to embody more wellness, inner balance and self-healing.

Have you ever used a mantra to bring your body back into a state of synchronicity and unity?  What is your mantra and if you haven’t used a mantra before, give it a try, what word or phrase could you use to support you?
